Allison Bell, LCSW

Clinical Therapist

Allison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who joined Bull City Anxiety & OCD Treatment Center in 2023. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of North Carolina Charlotte and a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She enjoys helping individuals and families who have been impacted by OCD, anxiety, and eating disorders by combining Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Allison has extensive experience working with children and adolescents through her years of teaching both elementary and middle school. She has had the opportunity to train with the authors of the well-known book, Intuitive Eating, and utilizes its framework to help clients improve their relationship with food. Allison is also a yoga instructor and loves bringing the practice of mindfulness into her sessions with clients.

Allison is happy to call North Carolina home after many years of moving around. She lives with her husband and young daughter. Allison loves spending time outside in the sunshine, singing in local choirs and theater productions, trying out great restaurants, and taking lots of yoga classes.
