Kristen (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined Bull City Anxiety and OCD Treatment Center in 2025 after relocating from St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her Masters degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis specializing in Clinical Mental Health. She has experience treating adolescents and adults as well as facilitating therapeutic groups. In her clinical practice, Kristen focuses on treating OCD and related disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, and perfectionism, with a special interest in the intersection of OCD and Eating Disorders. Kristen primarily utilizes a blend of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in her sessions.
Kristen believes that every individual has the power to create their own life story and the capacity to change their story to align with their values and live authentically. In session Kristen brings warmth and compassion to meet clients where they are and uses humor when appropriate.
In her free time Kristen can be found spending time with her husband and their guinea pig, reading, hiking/backpacking, and being outside as much as possible.
