This live, virtual training is eligible for three (3) Continuing Education Credits. It will provide counselors and social workers with a practical foundation for understanding, assessing, and treating OCD during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Participants will learn to recognize the core features of perinatal OCD, various subtypes, and distinguish OCD from other new parent worries. The training will also introduce Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard behavioral treatment for OCD, and provide case examples for implementing ERP for the perinatal population, including example hierarchies.
